I went to visit my mother this past weekend and it was undoubtedly relaxing, and my fiance and I drove 3 hours north to her household with our baby girl, and my good friend and I had really nothing planned, and it was a lovely feeling to get away without the hustle and bustle of our normal life; While my good friend and I were visiting my mother, my good friend and I stayed in the designated guest bedroom on the lower level while our kid slept in the office on the second floor inside her pack-and-play. My good friend and I used to keep her in the same room with us, but my good friend and I find that the guest bedroom gets undoubtedly hot; No matter what my good friend and I set the temperature control to, the guest bedroom is always significantly warmer than all the other areas of the house. There’s a single air vent in the room, and it feels like the cool air is never pumping into the room. My mother does not understand why that room is always warmer either, even though she assumes it’s because the doors are undoubtedly insulated… Like everyone, my good friend and I sleep with the door closed, so there’s no air coming in through the hallway. The only hope my good friend and I have for air is through the single air vent, which never seems to be laboring, but our kid doesn’t sleep well in warm spaces, so it wasn’t ideal for us to keep her in the guest bedroom with us. The office is upstairs, which is it’s own separate Heating and Air Conditioning zone. My good friend and I can set the temperature control to the perfect temperature and it’s consistent throughout all the rooms, unlike the guest bedroom downstairs.
