Nothing really bothers me about flying on airplanes. I do it so much that I rarely panic about being there on time, finding a good seat, or getting through security. I have everything timed down to the last minute, so I never stress about the details. Shockingly, the one thing that really bothers me is the heat and air situation at the airport. The airport in my hometown is so inconsistent with their thermostat settings and it really bothers me. It’s an older airport, so I’m not sure if that has anything to do with it. I find that I get really hot when I’m going through security, but then while I’m walking in the hallways I get chilly or vice versa. It’s like I can be warm in one spot and then cold in another and I have no idea why. The temperature inconsistency has made it really difficult for me to travel at the airport because I never know how to dress or what layers to bring. Recently, I’ve been wearing jeans and a t-shirt, but then I also bring a sweatshirt and a cardigan. I know it seems excessive to bring both, but the cardigan is lighter and the sweatshirt is thicker. They both offer two completely different warmth levels, which I need. I’m not someone who enjoys traveling with excessive things, but I find that it’s necessary for my time spent in the airport. I have a big fear that I’m going to get stuck in an airport that is super inconsistent in temperature and I’m going to be uncomfortable.
