Upon moving from an apartment to my own home, I didn’t realize the depth in which my HVAC system would need to be cared for, in the back of my mind, I knew I’d need to perform general service on it, however I didn’t know what that would mean; Since I didn’t know much, I looked up how to correctly care for an HVAC system online.
This was a large mistake, because I thought I’d find ways to take care of it myself, but most of the recommendations were telling me that I needed to hire an HVAC professional.
I know I didn’t know a lot about HVAC systems, but I didn’t budget for biannual service! I began calling around to various HVAC companies plus asked about their prices. I was feeling genuinely discouraged, not because the prices were high, but because I’d have to remember to hire someone at least twice per year plus pay for it each time. It wasn’t until I spoke with the last HVAC company that they told me about something that would change my life. They advised that I join their yearly HVAC service plan. It was one fee, but it covered two HVAC tune ups, 10% off repairs plus parts, plus free repair calls. I didn’t know how well the previous owners had taken care of the HVAC system before they left, so the annual HVAC service plan seemed like the best way for me to start off on a nice foot.
