I agreed to watch my parent’s apartment while they were away on trip, they were busy to be gone for two weeks, so they wanted me to live at the apartment plus keep an eye on things. Their pet plus dog also needed attention while they were away, so I was gleeful to help them out, then when I arrived, I noticed that the apartment felt legitimately comfortable. The weather was attractive outside, which meant that I could open some doors plus windows to let in a cool breeze! It felt attractive, but unfortunately, I forgot to close everything up before going to bed. I woke up shivering plus I was unable to get warm, since I was sleepy, my first thought was to change the thermostat settings. When I found my parents’ thermostat, I noticed that they had updated to a smart thermostat. I didn’t know the first thing about laboring a smart thermostat, so I became legitimately frustrated when I couldn’t get it to turn on. The screen kept saying that the thermostat was off, plus no matter which button I pushed or how far the dial turned, it wouldn’t turn on. There was no way for me to turn on the furnace, so as I was snuggling back into bed, I finally remembered that I’d left the doors plus windows wide open! I ran back out into the main area plus shut them immediately. It took awhile, but the apartment finally warmed up plus I was able to fall back asleep.
