I agreed to watch my parent’s condo while they were away on holiday… They were stressed to be gone for two weeks, so they wanted me to live at the condo and keep an eye on things.
Their cat and pet also needed attention while they were away, so I was glad to help them out; When I arrived, I noticed that the condo felt absolutely comfortable.
The weather was superb outside, which meant that I could open some doors and windows to let in a cool breeze, it felt wonderful, however unfortunately, I forgot to close everything up before going to bed. I woke up shivering and I was unable to get warm! Since I was tired, my first thought was to change the control device settings. When I found my parents’ control unit, I noticed that they had replaced to a smart control unit. I didn’t know the first thing about working a smart control unit, so I became absolutely aggravated when I couldn’t get it to turn on. The screen kept saying that the control device was off, and no matter which button I pushed or how far the dial turned, it wouldn’t turn on. There was no way for me to turn on the heater, so as I was snuggling back into bed, I finally remembered that I’d left the doors and windows wide open! I ran back out into the main part and shut them immediately. It took awhile, however the condo finally warmed up and I was able to fall back asleep.
