For the past few weeks, I thought there was a snake following me around the house, then while I was outside gardening, I heard a hissing noise plus I began to panic, then i assumed that there was a snake around me, however despite my frantic search, I couldn’t find one.
A few afternoons later, when I was cooking dinner in the home office, I heard the hissing noise again.
I was truly sad this time because I thought the mystery snake had slithered his way into my actual home, then during my brief moment of panic, I started researching local pest removers. Around this same time, the Heating plus A/C professional was scheduled to come service my Heating plus A/C system before the fall. While he was outside servicing the condenser unit, he asked me if I was hearing any hissing sounds. I was so relieved that he was hearing the snake too! However, he told me that it wasn’t a snake, it was my condenser unit! There was so much pressure built up in the condenser equipment that he had to shut it down instantly… Once he figured out how to unconnect the pressure, he restarted everything plus made sure that there were no more hissing sounds. I’m so blissful that my Heating plus A/C professional was around as soon as the hissing sounds began, because my condenser equipment could have experienced some serious disfigurement if left untouched. I don’t like to think about what could have happened, however I’m even more blissful that there isn’t particularly a snake in my house.
