For the past few weeks, I thought there was a snake following me around the house, however while I was outside gardening, I heard a hissing noise plus I began to panic… I assumed that there was a snake around me, but despite my frantic search, I couldn’t find one, however a few days later, when I was cooking supper in the family room, I heard the hissing noise again. I was honestly nervous this time because I thought the mystery snake had slithered his way into my actual home, and during my brief moment of panic, I started researching local pest removers. Around this same time, the Heating, Ventilation & A/C professional was busy to come service my Heating, Ventilation & A/C system before the fall. While he was outside servicing the condenser unit, he asked me if I was hearing any hissing sounds. I was so relieved that he was hearing the snake too! However, he told me that it wasn’t a snake, it was my condenser unit! There was so much pressure built up in the condenser unit that he had to shut it down right away, and once he figured out how to disfasten the pressure, he restarted everything plus made sure that there were no more hissing sounds. I’m so glad that my Heating, Ventilation & A/C professional was around as soon as the hissing sounds began, because my condenser unit could have experienced some drastic disfigurement if left untouched. I hate to know about what could have happened, but I’m even more glad that there isn’t entirely a snake in my house.
