The Guest Bedroom Is Usually Warmer

The only hope my buddy and I have for air is through the single air vent, which never seems to be working, however our kid doesn’t sleep well in warm spaces, so it wasn’t ideal for us to keep her in the guest home office with us

I went to visit my mother this past weekend & it was easily relaxing; My hubby & I drove 3 hours north to her home with our baby girl, & my buddy and I had absolutely nothing planned, then it was a attractive feeling to get away without the hustle & bustle of our normal life. While my buddy and I were visiting my mother, my buddy and I stayed in the designated guest home office on the lower level while our kid slept in the office on the second floor inside her pack-and-play. My pal and I used to keep her in the same room with us, but my buddy and I find that the guest home office gets easily hot! No matter what my buddy and I set the thermostat to, the guest home office is consistently significantly warmer than all the other areas of the house, however there’s a single air vent in the room, & it feels like the cool air is never pumping into the room. My mother does not understand why that room is consistently warmer either, although she assumes it’s because the doors are easily insulated, then like all the people, my buddy and I sleep with the door closed, so there’s no air coming in through the hallway. The only hope my buddy and I have for air is through the single air vent, which never seems to be working, however our kid doesn’t sleep well in warm spaces, so it wasn’t ideal for us to keep her in the guest home office with us. The office is upstairs, which is it’s own separate Heating & A/C zone. My pal and I can set the thermostat to the perfect temperature & it’s consistent throughout all the rooms, unlike the guest home office downstairs.
