Something had to give.
- Either we found rooms for all of our children or else.
I don’t quite know or else what but my husband and I were both at the end of our rope when it came to all the fighting. If there wasn’t full on warfare going on inside the central air conditioning of our home, it was constant bickering. The biggest point of contention was that our two daughters were sharing a room and hated it. They were so nasty to each other and to everyone else because they were miserable roommates. We had to do something because I was actually looking to stay late inside the zone controlled HVAC of the office to avoid coming home. I have the best work space and it’s a dream place to work. There is even a thermostat for my end of the floor that I pretty much get to set to my levels of quality heating and air. It’s just a bunch of us girls down on that end and we generally like the same levels of heating and cooling. So I would literally just stay at work and let my husband be the sheriff. Finally, we did end up adding on a big bedroom and connected bath that became our room. Our old bedroom was now occupied by the oldest daughter after a coin flip. They couldn’t even agree on who took the room. But as for me and my husband, we’re enjoy perfect quality heating and cooling thanks to a ductless heat pump the HVAC company installed in our new bedroom and bath. It’s awesome to have our own thermostat that we can control right from our bed if we want. And mercifully, the fighting and bickering have definitely ebbed.
